How to Display Images Side by Side on Squarespace Mobile View
To help your site be more mobile-friendly, Squarespace deletes spacer blocks and stacks the remaining blocks on top of each other. This means that if you have image blocks placed side by side, they will be stacked when viewed from a mobile device. If you are using several images, this can mean a lot of scrolling for your visitors.
