Honeybook Projects, Contracts, and Invoices

In the last few Squarespace Business Blog Posts I have been walking you through how I use Honeybook to automate my business. If you haven’t watched those tutorials yet, I suggest you start there first.

  1. Client Inquiry to Booking Process in Squarespace using Honeybook

  2. Using Email Templates in Honeybook

  3. Add an Automated Workflow in Honeybook

After setting up my booking process, email templates, and automated workflow, a huge portion of my client booking process was now automated. My clients could now fill out an inquiry form, book a call time with me, and receive a series of emails to prepare for our call without me lifting a finger.

However, I wanted to take this even further by making sure that my clients could sign the contract and complete an invoice with minimal effort on either party.

So today I am going to show you how to set up contract and invoice templates in Honeybook that you can use within your Honeybook Projects.

Step 1: Build Your Booking Process, Email Templates, and Automated Workflow

The first step is to build the contact and booking system outlined in my previous post here.

Then you need to set up your email templates. You can see how in this blog post.

Finally, you will need to set up an Automated Workflow. You can see how in this blog post.

Step 2: Connect Your Bank Account to Honeybook

In order to be able to accept payments through Honeybook, you will need to connect your bank account. You can do this in Business Settings > Bank Details.

Step 3: Create a Contract Template

The next step is to go to Tools > Templates and create a contract template. Now when a client completes your booking process and a project is created, you can easily send them a contract to sign. I would also create an email template you can use when sending your client their contract.

Step 4: Create an Invoice Template

Finally, go to Tools > Templates and create an invoice template. Now, you can also send your clients an invoice to complete. Don’t forget to create an email template you can use when sending your client their invoice.
